This blog aims to give an honest review of restaurants in Lancashire, England. It was started one night in January 2008 after having dinner with my girlfriend and joking about how great it would be to be a food critic – well, now it’s possible. I’m no expert in food, wine, beer etc but I have a bit of disposable income and like a lot of people I like to go out for a good meal and enjoy it, so I’d like to think I speak for the people.

I’ll be focusing on restaurants in the Lancashire area, and my posts will hope to capture the atmosphere of the places visited and give an idea of the standard of service, food, drink and most importantly, whether it was value for money.
